In my 2022 intention setting in January… I connected with a desire to write a book.

It was one of those desires that felt exciting and I was open to it manifesting divinely. I didn’t have a book focus or a book plan. I had an excitement feeling in my belly to share stories and support readers. I knew the contents would come to me, when the time was right.

So I celebrated the desire… and I let go of any details or need to “make it happen”. 

Then… just a few days later at the beginning of January… my dad passed away suddenly.

My life turned upside down. The most horrific thing I had often feared, had actually happened.

And to top if off, I contacted coronavirus from the hospital and went into a 10 day lockdown. Isolated while my family grieved.

I was thrown into a life-changing experience. Completely unexpectedly.

And I realised, isolated in my sister’s spare box room, I was AWAKENING into new levels of consciousness.

Everything I had been learning, reading, affirming, believing about the Universe the last few years… was being brought to life to embody on a much deeper level.

Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.

I was AWAKENING. Slowly, surely, steadily. Each day. Each moment. 

A few months later…

I was invited to collaborate with The Divine Collective publishing to share my awakening journey.

I instantly felt an expansive pull to this opportunity. Even though I hadn’t planned to write for a book over the Summer, I knew it was a priority. A divine priority.

I said yes. 

When I was ready to write, I took myself to a coffee shop, put away my phone, and let my journey flow through me.

It was a healing experience.

I was expressing myself in ways I never had before. Making connections. Seeing from an even higher perspective. I was writing in the middle of the biggest awakening of my life.

And when it came to the last few paragraphs, I was sobbing. Typing through the tears. Writing with pure emotion.

It was a release. A gratitude. A rebirth. A coming home. This chapter was part of my AWAKENING.
