I see this so often with clients. When you feel really confident and excited about your vision, you set yourself a juicy, stretching goal that will challenge you. And then… you have a wobble and the goal feels like a silly dream. You scrap it. You push it aside. You choose a more “realistic” goal or give up on the goal process altogether.
And you stop aiming to reach the big goal you set yourself. You limit yourself.
We all have that loud voice in our minds. I call her my inner “mean girl”, but you might know it as your ego voice or inner critic. She’s loud. She’s mean.
She’ll always be there, as she’s designed to keep you protected and safe. She’s directly connected to your subconscious beliefs that are programmed with what’s right and wrong. When you step away from what’s “right”… she get’s noisy to protect you.
BUT… it’s not all doom and gloom for your goals. You have freewill and you can choose to work on your subconscious beliefs. Work directly on the programming so that your mean girl is protecting you from a place that ALIGNS with what you actually want to believe. Not the out-dated programming from your childhood (or before!).
Just for a second, imagine if your self-talk was cheering you on, aligned with your big vision and expecting you to win!
Crazy? …ever heard of Kanye?
When you consistently feed your mind with positivity, self-love, compassion, limitlessness… that’s what you start to believe. That’s what becomes your foundation.
You can re-programme your mind through the messages, emotions and words that you consume!
This is where affirmations can play an important role in your mindset rituals!
I adore Earl Nightingale’s metaphor which I will share with you today.
Although you’re not fully in control of your subconscious thought patterns – they happen automatically and habitually. You are in control of your conscious thoughts. You can choose to sow new thought seeds consistently in every moment.
Affirmations are those seeds.
An affirmation is a simple statement that something exists or is true. And the beauty in affirmations is that these statements can be used intentionally to create and shape a belief system within your mindset. Through repetition and consistency, you will be able to create new beliefs that 100% align with what you desire to believe.
Just watch your beliefs grow and flourish when you consciously and intentionally pay attention and nurture them!
If you want to align your mindset with your goals and become a Goal Attractor… start thinking thoughts that serve you consistently.
I truly believe that you’re already a Goal Attractor, you just don’t know it or own it yet!
Embodying your Goal Attractor is CONSCIOUSLY setting goals and aligning your vibrational frequency to attract what you want with ease. It’s stepping into manifestation and trusting that you are a goal magnet, it’s natural for you!
And it’s not too crazy and unachievable!
You are a born Goal Attractor. You are always manifesting (consciously or unconsciously!) and the Universal Laws tell us that your thoughts create your reality. You can be a magnet to what you want!
Whatever you choose to focus on and where your energy is directed, you will attract more into your life. The Law of Attraction and Law of Vibration have your back, whether you are aware of it or not!
If you’re ready to take control of your thoughts and start feeding your mind to support your goals… get ready to start affirming like a Goal Attractor!
When you are manifesting your goals, it’s important that your mindset believes in YOU and believes in YOUR GOAL.
I teach clients to manifest from a mindset of feeling worthy, grateful for your current reality and already successful. You are incredible right now. But you are born to grow and expand – your goals simply enrich your life experience and provide a focus to expand towards.
You’re not alone in bringing your goal to your reality! You are co-creating your desires with the Universe, whether you realise it or not.
Remind yourself that when you take action, stay focused and align energetically with your desire… the manifestation process is happening!
Release the control of WHEN and HOW this goal will manifest. Your chosen ‘deadline’ and logical plans are a small piece of the puzzle.
Feed your mind with trusting thoughts so that you can surrender, let go and know that your goal will manifest in divine timing. It’s inevitable, it’s coming. Be patient and continue to be aligned.
Manifesting what you want is natural. Don’t make it too serious or complicated. It’s who you are – connect and have fun with it. Choose joy and lightness. Do what feels good for you!
Remember your subconscious mind believes what you tell it – so feed it with goodness!
Be consistent and create a 5 minute daily practice to either journal or affirm them to yourself. Make it a part of your lifestyle, and the consistent goodness will start re-programming your subconscious mind to be in alignment with your desires!
