How to Journal with the Universe

This journal prompt came to me via Sarah Prout’s book. A simple 2 worded phrase that unlocks what you’re thinking + feeling for radical self-expression. The focus is to “air” what you’re holding on to internally, so that it can be cleared and cleansed.

This prompt is for soulful entrepreneurs that are open to believing…that all the answers they need are within them and that they are one with the Universe.

The Prompt

Start the page with the words… “Dear Universe”… and let it flow.

Imagine you’re writing a letter to a loved one, being completely open and honest about what’s going on in this moment for you. Expressing yourself in this way releases the thoughts + emotions in your body. Which creates space for the Universe to connect THROUGH YOU.

When you openly witness + express what’s going on for you…

You’ll have space to receive + connect with answers, ideas, inspiration, clarity, love, presence, appreciation. Everything is already within you and this technique unlocks it for you.

If you’re HEALING… you may start by…

• Asking questions that have been on your mind
  • “Why does business feel so hard right now?” or “Where are my clients hiding?” 
• Expressing what you’ve been feeling
  • “I feel so frustrated today”

And if you’re EXPANDING… you may start by…

• Expressing how good things feel for you
  • “I feel so happy, grounded and aligned right now”
• Connecting with gratitude for what is + what you desire
  • “Thank you for the clients I’ve received. I’m ready to support even more”

These starter prompts support you to RELEASE in order to REALIGN.

And it’s a prompt you can connect with every day. There’s always something to express – resistance as well as appreciation. It takes it from your mind + body… into the moment… creating space for more Universal light.

The Universe within you is always listening + supporting you.
